Our favorite pens to draw and color with are Sharpie Fine Point Pens (they have the silver label and are available in black and several colors). These fine point pens won't bleed through the paper! The Sharpie Markers are great for coloring and drawing too, but are permanent, and will bleed through the paper. So, make sure you either have a piece of thin cardboard under your drawing or don't care about what's on the other side of the page.
